Valeria Taibi-Briz, M.S., LMHC

Hi, I’m Valeria, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with a passion for helping individuals of all ages. Whether you’re navigating childhood challenges or adulting with a side of stress, I blend traditional talk therapy with creative methods like play therapy, expressive arts, and sand tray therapy to create a space where you can explore your emotions in an empowering and authentic way. I believe the key to meaningful growth is trust, and that’s why I focus on fostering a safe and nurturing environment where you can be heard, understood, and celebrated.
I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety, depression, ADHD, and supporting those in the LGBTQ+ community. I also work with parents to discover practical tools for building strong, resilient families. Whether you’re exploring your gender identity, navigating relationship dynamics, or seeking a safe space to embrace who you are, I’m here to offer a compassionate and affirming environment. My strengths-based approach focuses on helping you uncover your resilience, embrace your authentic self, and move confidently toward your dreams and goals.
When I’m not in the therapy room, I’m probably on the roller derby track, practicing the art of resilience, teamwork, and staying grounded (skills I bring right back into my practice). I also love spending time outdoors, diving into a good book, or hanging out with my dog, Captain, who always knows how to keep it real.
I can’t wait to support you on your journey to emotional wellness, helping you feel empowered and ready to take on the world, one step at a time.
